What to do if you need medical help when we are closed – Out of hours services

NHS 111

NHS 111 is a free-to-call non-emergency medical helpline. Simply dial 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Please may we advise that Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
