SECURITY ALERT: Be aware of scam phone calls

There have been increased reports of scam phone calls to patients within Cheshire and Merseyside, with the phone number pretending to be from their GP Practice.

Scam callers are seeking to obtain both personal and financial information. Please be aware that patients will never be asked for your bank details over the phone.

Reporting suspected cyber crime

If you suspect a scam or fraud is taking place, please report it to: Reporting fraud and cyber crime | Action Fraud or call 0300 123 20 40.
