Teaching & Research
As a teaching Practice, students spend part of their medical training with us from the University of Liverpool. The Practice is also involved with various medical research studies.
What this means to you
- if a medical student is sitting in during our GP appointments we will always check that you are happy with this and proceed based on your preferences.
- if a GP trainee needs to video their consultation for training purposes then your permission will be sought prior to any recording and the GP trainee will explain exactly what is being recorded and for what purpose.
- if any medical research studies are on going then we will make sure you are fully aware and that we have your permission to include you in any study should the GP feel that your history would be beneficial to the research base.
