How to make an appointment
The most convenient way to boom an appointment is to send a request on PATCHS.
PATCHS is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 18:00.
Appointment requests will be subject to clinical triage, to enable us to prioritise patients based on clinical need. This means that you will be offered an appointment with an appropriate clinician if deemed necessary, within an appropriate timeframe for the symptoms described. It is therefore important to ensure you give detailed information on your PATCHS request.
Before requesting an appointment, please follow the self-care advice and read the detailed information about the many community services available as these may quickly provide the help you are looking for.
We strongly encourage patients to create a PATCHS account and submit electronic requests for appointments. For those that are unable to do this, or do not have internet access, our receptionists will be available on the phone to submit the same request on your behalf.
How it works:
Urgent Appointments
Urgent appointment requests should be submitted on PATCHS in the same way as routine requests, as early in the day as possible (Preferably before 12 noon) to enable the GP to triage the request and provide an appointment on the day if appropriate.
Are available upon request.
We hope you understand that to manage the high demand for our services it is imperative that we use all of our appointment options effectively and efficiently. To help us with this we would ask that you please cancel any appointment you no longer need with as much notice as possible. Regrettably, patients who consistently fail to attend may be removed from our practice list. Appointments can be cancelled on your NHS app or by calling us.
