Health Visiting – Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust
A good place to start when looking for advice about breastfeeding would be our local health visiting service. They can be contacted by calling 0151 5142888 or by attending one of their drop in clinics.

Koala North West

The Breast Feeding Network
Sometimes you’ll need to take medications whilst breastfeeding. These may be prescribed, in which case you can discuss the choice with the prescriber, or they may be over the counter medications. The breastfeeding network has a useful section containing drugs factsheets that can help you make decisions on the safety of the medications and the impact they may have on breastfeeding.
