Temporary Residents

(Please can we advise once we have your Temporary Registration form it takes a minimum of 2 working days to record your basic details on our system as a temporary patient and at this stage you can contact us to make appointments.)

Temporary Registration

If you normally live outside our local area but are staying here on a temporary basis it can be a good idea to register with a local GP Surgery as a temporary patient. This means that your own Surgery will still deal with all of your routine health issues BUT if you need to see a GP locally then being a temporary patient will allow you to do so. Unfortunately you cannot register as a temporary patient at a Surgery in the town or area where you are already registered.

To register as a temporary patient with St Catherine’s GP Surgery please download the form below:-

What happens next:-

  • Please come into Surgery during our opening hours with the completed Temporary Resident Registration Form. ( although unlikely.. please may we advise that we do have the right to refuse a temporary patient registration request)

You can stay as a temporary patient with a local GP surgery for up to 3 months, after that you will need to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with the Surgery. (please click here if you wish to register as a New Patient with St Catherine’s GP Surgery)
